An 18-year-old student is dead after a shooting on Monday at a high school in Toronto, according to police.
Officers received reports of the shooting Monday afternoon, with the school board confirming the shooting took place at David and Mary Thomson Collegiate Institute, saying it happened “shortly after dismissal.”
Police said officers located a male victim with a gunshot wound and confirmed he was a student at the school. Homicide investigators have taken over. Morganne Campbell has the details.
