With honking trucks, disruptive occupations, and border blockades, protesters spent weeks pushing back against Canada’s COVID-19 restrictions.
But did they manage to get their message across? Although most Canadians are fed up with restrictions, many of the tactics of these protests were off-putting, with the messaging at times extreme, and demands for immediate policy changes unrealistic.
Eric Sorensen looks at whether the movement’s strategy tactics paid off, and if Canadians feel any different toward public health measures.
