TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran national handball team will leave Tehran on Wednesday to take part at the International Tournament of Spain 2022 (TIE).

The tournament will bring Spain, Iran, Japan and Poland in Cuenca from January 6 to 8.
It will be part of the preparation for the 2022 Asian Men’s Handball Championship, which will be held in Dhahran, Saudi Arabi from January 18 to 31.
Iran is in Group B along with Saudi Arabia, Australia and India.
Team Melli was originally scheduled to travel to Romania to participate in a tournament in the country but it was canceled due to the sickness of several members of the team.
